DI-Asia Base (DIAB) is a joint venture between The Confederation of Danish Industry’s International Business Development (DIBD) and Asia-Base Ltd. Since 2004, DI-Asia Base has been an incubator office for Danish companies in China. From our offices in Shanghai and Xuzhou, we give advice and service around 20 companies from a variety of businesses.

Business development, sparring and employee training is handled by Danish managers, providing a trustworthy management partner in China, who coach and monitor the performance of the Chinese representative.

Financials, taxes, pay-roll management and outlay control is managed by our certified Chinese accountants, while back office personnel make sure that practical challenges do not take focus off the primary focus – business development. Currently, the administrative staff of DIAB consists of 10 highly qualified and service minded Chinese and Danish employees.

Besides the strong synergy effects in our network of current and former Own Man in China (OMIC) customers, we draw on the significant resources and consultancy competencies of our owners in The Confederation of Danish Industry and DI-Asia Base Ltd (see ‘Investors’)
