DIAB’s next training seminar will take place on June 18. The theme is Cross Cultural Management. The seminar will be delivered by Dr. Tony Fang, professor at Stockholm University and visiting professor at Copenhagen Business School & Fudan University.
Dr. Fang’s research and publications have focused on creative thinking in cross cultural management, China business studies, international business negotiations and global sourcing in China. He is best known as the author of the book Chinese Business Negotiating Style, (London: Sage, 1999), which is widely read by Western managers doing business in China. Dr. Fang is also an internationally sought-after speaker and seminar leader in executive workshops in cross cultural management, leadership and negotiation.
Tony Fang has a MSc degree in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Prior to becoming an scholar, he worked as a technical and investment manager for Chinese (1987-1991) and Scandinavian shipping companies (1993-1995).
