
Migatronic spent nearly two years with OMIC. It was an important step in our strategy for developing China as an integral part of the company’s global activities. Today, we have numerous projects in China on both the supply and sales side. This includes a new manufacturing plant, which we are operating in co-operation with a Chinese partner, with the objective of getting a stronger foothold on the Chinese market for welding machines and equipment.
Using DI-Asia Base’s OMIC solution enabled Migatronic to create an essential bridge to China, from where we could develop our activities gradually and comfortably. We did not feel ready to engage in a substantial investment in China without first carefully examining the business environment we would be working in. The OMIC solution made us able to do exactly that.
